Mark Lean's musical journey started in New York, where he honed his skills as a multi-instrumentalist, producer, songwriter and vocalist under the guidance of his mentors Kenyatta Beasley and Tony Dofat at Long Island University. He spent countless hours practicing and playing in bars around the city before returning home to Norway in 2020. 

In Norway, Mark Lean put together the unique and eccentric band The Pocket Thieves. The band comprises Mark Lean as the vocalist and guitarist, Adrian Greg on keyboard and synth, Magnus Robert on bass, and Andreas Matthew on drums. After months of practicing and perfecting their sound, they started performing together in April 2023, playing songs from Mark Lean's debut album and new songs produced with the band. 

The Pocket Thieves have a unique and captivating musical DNA that engrosses their audience, providing a truly one-of-a-kind musical experience. They have organized several events in Norway and Europe to bring more people together to experience quality art.
